Jermuk Art Gallery

Jermuk Art Gallery was established in 1972. Here the exhibition includes selected exhibits of the Soviet-Armenian and modern rich cultural heritage. The permanent exhibition embraces about 100 paintings and sculptures of the 1920-1990’s. Guests of Jermuk can view the genre and diverse subject works by distinguished Armenian painters M. Sarian, V. Gaifejian, H. Galentz, H. Hagopian, M. Petrosian and others. Alongside with paintings highly artistic sculptures are displayed. Parallel to the permanent exhibition various cultural events are also regularly organized, including exhibitions, memory morning performances, lectures and workshop. The branch is situated on the riverside of Arpa River. Especially attractive is that the visitors first satisfy their spiritual need and aesthetic taste, and then they appear before the beautiful Jermuk waterfall within some ten minutes through the field road opened from backyard.
