After a long break, the permanent exhibition of world-renowned marine artist Hovhannes Aivazovsky’s artworks reopen in the National Gallery of Armenia. It is one of the most significant collections of the master in the world in its volume and artistic value.
The renovated and modernized halls present around 50 paintings and graphic works, including canvases on Armenian and biblical themes, serene and lyrical, rough and stormy seascapes, as well as scenes of the night sea enveloped in a mysterious veil.
The exhibition will be open from June 22
