National Gallery of Armenia

 The National Gallery of Armenia as well has an active participation in the exhibition dedicated to the 200th birth anniversary of Hovhannes Aivazovsky taking place at the State Tretyakov Gallery. On July 12, 2016 deputy director of the Research Department of the National Gallery Samvel Hovhannisyan and head of the Restoration Department Igor Poghosyan handed over twelve works by H. Aivazovsky to the State Tretyakov Gallery for the temporary exhibition. The works were transported in specially protected safety boxes.
The opening of the exhibition takes place on July 28, 2016 at the State Tretyakov Gallery (Moscow). Director of the National Gallery of Armenia Mr. Arman Tsaturyanhas been invited and will be present at the opening ceremony.
