Decorative-Applied Art department was established in 1968. Decorative-Applied Art department includes about 4000 high-value exhibits. A part of them, about 900 units have been placed in the permanent exhibition after classification and include items of 18th-19th-century German, Dutch, French, English and Russian porcelain, those of 19th-20th-century French glass, unique pieces of 16th-17th-century furniture. Separate halls display the decorative-applied art of Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece and that of oriental countries.
