National Gallery of Armenia

The culture, picturesque places and temples are depicted on the exhibited 82 photographs. Suresh Babu, the Indian Ambassador in the RA, Paravon Mirzoyan and Marine Papyan, the president of “Lotus” NGO will speak at the official opening of the exhibition. Naira Mkrtchyan, an orientalist and a lecturer of YSU will represent interesting information on the state of Jammu and Kashmir of India. The concert will include performances of "Zangakner" ensemble (artistic director Shaheh Keshishian), kamancha player Hakob Khalatyan, duduk player Harutyun Chkolyan and “Victoria” dance ensemble. The film “India. Unity in Diversity” produced by “Armedia” Information Analytical Agency (the author Naira Mkrtchyan) will be shown. It represents multiethnic and multireligious India and its diverse nature, tells about the country's independence from British colonialism and the proclamation of the Republic, as well as the centuries-old philosophy. The photography exhibition “A Paradise on the Earth” will continue up to the 10th of February. It is organized by “Lotus” NGO with the support of the Indian Embassy in the RA at the National Gallery of Armenia.
